The Owner’s Monday Brief: Turning Strategy Into a Weekly Action Plan

Medro Advisors’ latest commentary offers business owners a practical planning exercise: identify one capital priority, one growth priority, and one ownership priority, then consider how those decisions affect one another.

Don McClain, founder of Medro Advisors, introduces the exercise through three questions: What must the next capital commitment accomplish? What needs to become stronger before the business expands? And what role does the owner want to have three years from now?

Medro’s accompanying company commentary translates those questions into a weekly agenda. For each priority, identify the intended outcome, the prerequisites, the responsible person, and the next action with a deadline.

Reviewing the priorities together can help owners recognize competing demands on cash, people, and management attention—and determine which steps need to come first.

The commentary follows the September 6 introduction of The Medro Brief and the accompanying specialist newsletter editions from Fast Commercial Capital, Fasty Funding, and Alianza Partners.
