Build a Capital Request Around the Uses of Funds

A useful capital request explains what the money must accomplish. List each use, amount, payment date and supporting document, separating acquisition costs, equipment, improvements, refinancing, transaction expenses and operating reserves. Distinguish available cash from funds dependent on another event, and give unresolved items an owner and next step.
